November and December

November and December are both pretty much a blur. So I'll do my best to try to remember what was our goings on.
So in November we made our last flight from Denver to Idaho Falls, hallelujah!!! Max really is not the best flyer. We spent Thanksgiving with the Bryson clan. So many of them were able to make it, it was so much fun to be with them! Max is always so spoiled by everyone, the little Bryson cousins even started a Max Club. It's pretty cute. We also got to spend time with the Beesley family, it's so nice to have both of our families all in one place. Unfortunately I don't have an pictures of the trip, I really need to work on being a better picture taker.
December was definitely the craziest month so far. I started out the month by running a 5K. Me and my good friend had decided to do it months prior and didn't think so much about the snow, but we ended up running in pretty much a blizzard. It was really fun and definitely a 5k I won't forget. The next weekend we had our Ward Christmas party and our little family was asked to be the nativity. It was pretty fun, even though Max looks more like a sheep than baby Jesus:)
Then it was time to get ready for the big move. I had been dreading this for months. Denver was so hard to leave. We loved everything about it, and we really had the very best friends! But both of us felt very good about moving to Nampa and Jeff buying a practice there. So we did it, change sure is scary! The last weeks of December were filled with packing, packing, chasing Max around, and moving. We had so much help, we will be forever grateful! The week before Christmas my dad flew out to help us with the move and drove back to Rigby with me and Max, Max was such a champ! He did great on the ride, and I am so so grateful to my dad for saving us. Later in the week Jeff joined us in Rigby, his dad came to make the big drive with him as well.
Finally Christmas came! It was so nice to be able to stop and be with our families for Christmas mid-move. We spent Christmas Eve with my family. It was so fun! The grandkids put on the best Christmas program and we got to eat a delicious dinner all together. We opened these stylin' PJ's! Aren't they so cute!! Christmas Day was spent going to church for a Christmas program and spending the day eating and relaxing with both of our families. We are so blessed! It was nice to get a break from the moving/starting a new business stress.
These two have so much fun together. Luke and Max will grow up to be best buddies, as for now they are just really good at stealing each others toys!
A few days after Christmas we made the finally stretch to Nampa. We are happy to be here and can't wait to see what new adventures are ahead. Wish us luck, we may need it! Happy New YEAR!!

9 Months

Wow, this is a crazy month!! Max is growing so fast. He has perfected the 'army crawl' by now and is super fast and really into everything. It's so fun, except when I'm trying to pack, then it's really not so fun. We had his 9 month check up, he's doing great and growing like a weed. So during all this craziness I have misplaced his stats, mother of the year I know, I'm sure it will turn up. But I do remember his weight is 20lbs 15oz, how could I forget after lugging him around all day:) We sure love him and can't believe it's already been 9 months!

8 Months

8 months, wow I can't even believe it. I swear the months just keep going by faster and faster. I would say this month has been the month of MORE. He's doing pretty much the same things as last month, just more of it!

MORE:
-Moving, not quite crawling yet but he is getting pretty fast and is very good at going in circles
-Getting stuck, usually under chairs or the desk
-Babbling more and more, he has so much to say

-He's getting more and more opinionated about what he wants and doesn't hesitate to let me know!

-Eating more foods

-Getting more hair

-Showing even more of his cute little personality

-Sleeping more at night (wahoo!!!)

-Laughing more and unfortunately whining more

-Getting even MORE CUTE and MORE FUN!

We can't help but love this guy even more!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, but can I just say it's SO much more fun with Max! We love dressing up, so of course we would love dressing up our baby. Max was a shark, Jeff was a scuba diver, and I was a beach girl. Happy Halloween!

October

October was a crazy, busy, fun month! We started out with a birthday. Jeff has now officially entered his 30s. His birthday was pretty low key this year. We celebrated with all his special requests. . .bread bowls, ice cream cake, and a remote control airplane. He's pretty easy to please.

Max also had his first ride on the skateboard. Jeff was so proud. He was slightly more excited than Max, can you tell?! I have a feeling that won't be the last time he's on that board.

We went to a pumpkin patch with some of our friends. It was so fun and pretty cute. They had tons of pumpkins in all different shapes and sizes I had never seen before. Max wasn't too interested, but it did give a great photo op. Isn't he such a cutie!

This fall has been amazing! We really couldn't ask for better weather! We are loving Denver's long fall and such beautiful weather. Max loves to be outside, so we go on walks most everyday. It makes everyone so much happier to be able to go outside.

This month has been a fun one! Max cut his 2 bottom teeth. As a hygienist and dentist me and Jeff couldn't be more excited! Let the oral hygiene instruction begin! He also has started scooting around more and more. He is mostly stuck in reverse but he getting pretty quick. We love this little guy so much!

September

September was such a great month. Max is getting to have more and more personality all the time and it's so much fun! Here are a few pictures of what we've been up to this month.

These are some pre-church pictures. Aren't Jeff and Max so cute just looking at each other? Max loves Jeff and is so interested in whatever his dad is doing.
Mid-September we were lucky enough to go to Breckenridge with some our great friends! It was so much fun! The weather was just starting to get chilly. There was some rain, but overall just perfect. It's so fun to go on mini-vacations with friends. Colorado is such a beautiful place!

This is a cute little jacket I made for Max a few months ago, and now that the weather is starting to change he gets to wear it. Its pretty cute on him, though I don't know if I would do it again. This project involved lots of phone calls to mom, I may just stick to quilting for now:)

September was great, and hopefully we can dodge snowfall for a few more months!
