4 Months

This guys is 4 months old! I can hardly believe it. He's usually a pretty smiley guy but after 25 hours+ of car time it was a little hard to get a grin out of him.
So his 4 month stats are:
Weight: 15lbs 9oz
Height: 25 1/2 inches
He's getting to be a pretty big kid, the car seat gets heavier and heavier. I'm just glad we moved from the 3rd floor! This month he continues to be very chatty-he loves to sit and babble with whoever will listen. He is such a good baby and is pretty much happy unless he needs something, then you better figure it out quick! He still likes to wake-up to see me a few times during the night. . .I'm hoping he'll grow out of this sometime soon:) He has started to show more interest in toys and has started to grab and hold things. He did roll over once while we were at the cabin, but I'm pretty sure it was an accident because he doesn't seem interested in doing it again. We love him so much and every month he gets more and more fun!

Idaho Vacation Fun!

We love go on vacation to Idaho! Mostly because we get to be with family. . .and our families are so much fun! We first started with a trip to Mesa Falls with the Bryson's. Look at all these Bryson cousins!

Then we had Max's blessing and an after party BBQ at the Bryson's. Here's a pic of the babies. Left to right...Kelcie and Ashlyn(8 months), Lisa and Max(4 months), Jessica and Luke(6 months). These babies are so cute and so much fun! The funny thing is they are all about the same size!

All the Bryson siblings, can you see the family resemblance? We feel so lucky that so many of them made it! Left to right. . .McRay, Heather, Amy, Jeff, and Tom.

Then we went over to hang out with some of the Beesley cousins. They were having the annual Cousins Bash. Unfortunately you have to be atleast potty trained to attend. . .Max still has a few years until he can spend the night. But it was so fun to stop by!
Then we headed to the cabin in Island Park. The first day my mom came up to be our 'flagger.' Max really hated the life jacket. Lucky for him a crazy storm combined with nap-time ended up in us not spending much time on the boat the first day.

The next day some of Jeff's H.S. friends came up with their families. It was good to catch up and see how much everyones families are growing. We love to be at the cabin, nothing is better then the lake and Jeff's amazing smores! Now back to real life and Jeff's first day of work!!!

Max Doyle Bryson

Max Doyle Bryson received a name and a blessing July 3rd. We decided to wait and do it in Idaho so we could have family to be with us on Max's special day. We were so happy that so many of our loved ones could be there. Four of Jeff's siblings and their families came and all of my siblings were there. Both sets of Max's grandparents were there along with his two of his great grandmothers and his great grandfather which he is named after. Max is one very loved little boy. Jeff gave such a beautiful blessing. This was one of my favorite days as a mother so far. I hope to always remember the feelings that were felt that day. It was such a special day. Thanks to everyone that made such an effort to be there!

Big changes coming our way. . .

Today is Jeff's first day of work as an official Pediatric Dentist. It is quite the end of an era for us Bryson's. Jeff has been in college/residency for 10 years! We have been in school all our our dating/married life, so this will be a major change for us. But a very, very good change. Jeff has worked so hard and logged countless hours to complete his education. We are so proud of him and the sacrifices he has made. We all know he would have rather been snowboarding the last 10 years everyday instead of school, but he did it!!! Now onto real life, more big decisions, but all good choices! Congrats Jeff!
