Halloween!

I love Halloween!  But I think Jeff loves it more, this year he will have dressed up 3 times all in 3 different costumes.  He's pretty serious about it!  We started our festivities with a party at a friends house.  The theme for the party was Famous Couples, so we dressed up as Ron Burgandy and Veronica Corningstone from the movie Anchorman.  Jeff was loving having all that hair(he wore it for pretty much 2 days straight!)

The next day was our ward's Trunk or Treat.  They had hot dogs for lunch and then the kids went crazy over the candy.  Max was so cute!!!  I took a ridiculous amount of pictures!

This is actually Halloween night, Max was a shark, Jeff was Cookie Monster.
Look at that sticky face, he was in heaven!

Pumpkin Patch

We decided to do a little office outing this month.  We went to The Farmstead Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze.  It was such a cute, fun place!  Max loved it!  It really was a lot of fun, I think we'll make it a tradition!

Max loved this fun trampoline!

Isn't this the cutest thing?  They had a 4wheeler pulling these cows around!

Happy Birthday Jeff!

Earlier this month was Jeff's birthday.  We had a great day!  Ruth was here to share the week with us so that made it extra fun.  We watched some conference, went swimming, and Ruth and Jeff went 4x4ing.  Ruth is much braver than me!  We also went to a movie and had a delicious mexican dinner.  Happy 32nd Birthday Jeff!!

He's a little crazy but we love him!

Happiest place on earth. . .

This is it, Bills Island, Island Park. To me it is just about the best place to go on vacation, and this year did not disappoint.
We did have a minor set back, which made us miss out on the Smith Family Reunion, and we ended up with a new car. Not the best way to start a vacation, but the rest of the week was amazing. Our awesome friends Jen and Dustin made the drive from Denver to spend the week with us. It was just about perfect!
Be prepared for a ridiculous amount of pictures!
First stop was West Yellowstone and Old Faithful.   Old Faithful did not disappoint, she went off just as planned.  Then we stopped at Fire Hole River for a little swim.  It was super fun, the water was not as warm as expected but these little babies are pretty tough!

A few days later we rented this Rhino and cruised around to Big Springs.  The ride was a little long for the babies, well probably more like a little long for the moms:)  But it was fun!  With Jeff and Dustin it is always an adventure!

The next days were filled with lots of boat time, throwing rocks in the lake, canoeing, and luckily a few naps.  We had lots of time for relaxing and enjoying each others company.  We sure have missed our friends!
Brody and Max became friends pretty quick
Jen and Lucy on the boat, Lucy is the best, cutest baby ever!
All tuckered out!

Tube time, pre-getting dumped off!  The babies were pretty tough!

We sure love these guys and hope we get to see them again soon!!  Thanks for coming Trails!!

I love tennis. . .

I have really loved playing tennis this year.  It has been so fun, and I am so sad to take a break.  This year I played on 2 league teams, which kept me pretty busy.  I was playing 2-3 times a week, so it is quite a change not playing at all.  I made great friends that I will hopefully continue to play with.  Our team won district champions in Idaho and we took 3rd at Sectionals in SLC.  What a great year!

Bryson Reunion

For the first time in a few years all of the Bryson's got together.  We all met at the Bryson Ranch in Southern Utah, just outside of Cedar City.  We got to be there for about 3 days, which wasn't quite long enough!  We had so much fun!  Max loved to be with all of his cousins and we loved seeing everyone.  With the Brysons there is never a dull moment!

Max was really into exploring

Jeff and Max at the pond

They built an awesome zip line, much safer than the one Jeff and Brad built 20 years ago!  Everyone loved it!

Max was all about the 4wheeler

These cowboys were so good to play with Max, and they put on quite the rodeo show!

Grandma and Grandpa dancing for the talent show!  So cute, highlight of the reunion!!

All but just 2 of the grandkids, we missed Rachel and Brian!!  What a beautiful group!

Family really is the best!! Can't wait to see you all again soon!  I'm so lucky to be able to call them my family!

Summertime=Laketime

It's no secret, us Bryson's love the lake.  This summer we have had some good times on the lake and at the cablepark.

We love all these little Bryson's!

VACATION.....

A few weeks ago Jeff had a Dental Convention in San Diego, so we decided to make a vacation out of it . . .Max-free!!  It was awesome!  My awesome sister-in-law and sister took turns watching Max while we were gone.  He had so much fun with their little families.  And we had a pretty great time without him.  I can say I did miss him, but it was a great break.  And we definitely needed it, these last months have been exhausting!
Here is a little recap of our time in California.. .
First stop IN and OUT!  It was just as good as we had anticipated!

Then we stopped at the LA Temple.  It was HUGE!!  I was really blown away with how big it was, and it was so beautiful!

The next day we went to the happiest place on earth. . . .DISNEYLAND!!
The last few days we spent at a condo in Carlsbad.  It really was my favorite part of the the whole trip.  We just went to the beach, Jeff surfed I read.  And we played a lot of tennis, and of course did some shopping.  That's a perfect vacation to me!
But we sure did miss this little guy. . .
