I love tennis. . .

I have really loved playing tennis this year.  It has been so fun, and I am so sad to take a break.  This year I played on 2 league teams, which kept me pretty busy.  I was playing 2-3 times a week, so it is quite a change not playing at all.  I made great friends that I will hopefully continue to play with.  Our team won district champions in Idaho and we took 3rd at Sectionals in SLC.  What a great year!

Bryson Reunion

For the first time in a few years all of the Bryson's got together.  We all met at the Bryson Ranch in Southern Utah, just outside of Cedar City.  We got to be there for about 3 days, which wasn't quite long enough!  We had so much fun!  Max loved to be with all of his cousins and we loved seeing everyone.  With the Brysons there is never a dull moment!

All but just 2 of the grandkids, we missed Rachel and Brian!!  What a beautiful group!



Family really is the best!! Can't wait to see you all again soon!  I'm so lucky to be able to call them my family!

Summertime=Laketime

It's no secret, us Bryson's love the lake.  This summer we have had some good times on the lake and at the cablepark.

New Family Pictures. . .

We needed some new family pics for the office's new website so I thought I'd share.  These were taken just out back of the office.

VACATION.....

A few weeks ago Jeff had a Dental Convention in San Diego, so we decided to make a vacation out of it . . .Max-free!!  It was awesome!  My awesome sister-in-law and sister took turns watching Max while we were gone.  He had so much fun with their little families.  And we had a pretty great time without him.  I can say I did miss him, but it was a great break.  And we definitely needed it, these last months have been exhausting!
Here is a little recap of our time in California.. .
First stop IN and OUT!  It was just as good as we had anticipated!

Then we stopped at the LA Temple.  It was HUGE!!  I was really blown away with how big it was, and it was so beautiful!

The next day we went to the happiest place on earth. . . .DISNEYLAND!!

The last few days we spent at a condo in Carlsbad.  It really was my favorite part of the the whole trip.  We just went to the beach, Jeff surfed I read.  And we played a lot of tennis, and of course did some shopping.  That's a perfect vacation to me!

But we sure did miss this little guy. . .

First Haircut. . .

Our little guy was starting to get a little scruffy!  His hair was getting so long! It would get soaked with sweat after his sprints around the house.  So we decided today was the day.  I was pretty sad to see those cute curls go.

 So was Max. . . .

  Then he decided maybe it was okay. . . .especially since he got his first sucker!

 I think it turned out pretty cute.  We all survived. . . .it's pretty short, but it will eventually grow back right?

Max the organizer. . .

Max is so funny.  His new obsession is his cars and trucks.  He has to have one in each hand when he goes to bed or has a nap.  He almost always has one on his tray when he eats.  And you are guaranteed to trip on at least one when you walk anywhere in our house.  His latest thing to do is organize then in the windowsill by our front door.  It is so cute.  He will stand there and arrange them.  He is really into sorting and organizing.  Pretty funny for a one year old!
